DCBC has now joined an elite group of schools - only 10% of all secondary schools in the country having been judged by OFSTED inspectors to be Outstanding.
FCC has their inspection later in the year and we are expecting a similar outstanding judgement.

Hugely talented Y9 student, Phoebe Bradley is currently celebrating a superb achievement. Throughout Year 8, and up until November in Y9, Phoebe has been attending an extra weekly English class to prepare for GCSE English entry. Phoebe’s hard work and dedication were rewarded as she achieved an A*.
The English department would like to congratulate Phoebe on this stunning achievement. She absolutely deserves this grade for her hard work and dedication. To achieve an A* in Y9 is something that we are very proud of her for.
The Durham Federation achieved record breaking GCSE results this year, with Durham Community Business College achieving 58% passes including Maths and English and Fyndoune Community College achieving 64%. Both schools achieved an unbelievable 97% pass rate for 5 GCSEs at grade C or better.
